Serial Kickstarter entrepreneur Patrick Thomas Mitchell has again come to the crowdfunding a website to raise funds for its new Arduino and Raspberry Pi speech system. Once put down the Arduino and Raspberry Pi compatible set allows makers, developers and hobbyists to allow projects with more than 1000 words. The latest project develops the first smaller Buddy Talker hardware and already provides for a a greater vocabulary. The very first “Little Buddy Talker” requires one quarter of space, and features colours, commands, months/days/time, numbers, directions, feelings, units of measurement, security words, math lingo, and general words; and all of these are spoken by a female voice with an English accent! The main 254 words within the new system originate from the initial Little Buddy Talker Library words.
